The Black Family Advisory Council is pleased to announce that DPS’s new Superintendent, Dr. Alex Marrero will be meeting with BFAC members on September 14th from 6pm- to 8pm. We will discuss what is going well in DPS, what needs improvement and how the Superintendent can support Black Families. We will also have a town hall, where questions Parents, Educators and Community members provided can be discussed in an open forum to synergistically determine solutions.
We ask that you support our children in the DPS school system by making sure that our Black voices are being heard and echoed throughout every school in DPS! Please be in attendance on 9/14 between 6pm and 8pm, and please share this information with other families, community members and educators.
