What is a charter school?

Charter schools are free, open-enrollment, public schools that are given autonomy over curriculum, finances, and hiring in exchange for promising excellent results for kids.  We are a charter school within Denver Public Schools.  Get the facts here!  https://www.charterpublic.org/

Does Academy 360 participate in School Choice?

Yes!  We participate in School Choice through Denver Public Schools.  www.dps.schoolmint.com.  If you are new to the system, call our front office for assistance – 303.574.1360.

If you are submitting an ECE application, you must upload the following documents in order to submit your application:

  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of income – 30 consecutive days

SchoolChoice online applications cannot be submitted without these documents.

What does your Literacy data look like?

Academy 360’s students showed resilience and grit this school year.  Our community is proud that 63% of our students are on grade level reading proficiency, per IStation.  Additionally, 66.5% of the student body made over 1.5 years of growth this school year.  CONGRATULATIONS, students!  Check out our visuals!

Who does Academy 360 serve?

Academy 360 currently serves ECE (3 and 4 year olds) through 5th grade students.  We also serve M/I-A students in grades 3-5 and moderate to severe needs students in ECE 3-4.

Where is Academy 360 located?

Academy 360 is located at 12000 E 47th Ave, across the street from the post office. The cross streets are 47th Avenue and Paris Street; we are just two blocks west of Peoria Street in the Montbello community.

Is transportation provided?

22-23 Routes Posted!  Academy 360’s bus route is on the Far Northeast Shuttle Service and is available to all students.  Students can take the bus in the morning via the Yellow Line 23 or Green Line 4 lines.  In the afternoons, students can take Yellow Line 7 or Green Line 16.  Students that go to the Boys & Girls Club will use the McGlone stop.  Full schedule Academy 360 2022-23 Shuttle Schedule; please sign up your student here – https://forms.gle/VYvaaUm7dfduWTLDA

How much does ECE/preschool cost?

Tuition is based on a sliding scale set by Denver Public Schools.  Please click here to identify the amount for your family.

Is there after school care?

Yes!  Academy 360 has revamped its aftercare program to include enrichment through theater, dance, the arts and more!  No drop in aftercare services are available.  The cost is $20 per day, per student.  SEATS ARE LIMITED!  Sign up today!  https://forms.gle/vKB3ZfoVd7y93Wu79.  Here is the enrichment schedule – Enrichment Schedule

Additionally, many of our students go to the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, located 1/2 mile from the school and accessible via the Success Express bus route.  Check out their programming here.

Does Academy 360 have sports?

Yes!  In addition to daily PE, Academy 360 has basketball, soccer, track/field teams and participates in Girls on the Run.  Marvin Williams, PE & Health Teacher, can answer additional questions about our sports leagues – email hidden; JavaScript is required.

Do Academy 360 students wear uniforms?

Yes, our uniform top is a grey, green or navy polo with the Academy 360 logo and can be purchased at school. The cost of each polo shirt is $12 and the cost of the sweatshirt is $15. Students wear any solid colored pants, shorts, or skirts (with leggings or tights underneath) which can be purchased at any clothing store of your choice. Because we move throughout the school day, including during PE class, all students MUST wear sneakers.

Will Academy 360 prepare children for college?

Yes. We believe that college preparation starts before birth, which is why we offer parent education classes on nutrition and early literacy. Academy 360 believes that every child should have the choice to attend a 4-year college, and will implement a rigorous curriculum, research-driven teaching practices, intensive professional development for staff, and data-driven interventions in order to prepare every child for success in school, college, and beyond.
