Kaylie Clark

First Grade Teacher

Kaylie is excited to be joining the Academy-360 team and brings seven years of teaching experience in Aurora, Fort Lupton, and Westminster. She has her Master’s in Elementary Education from University of Colorado. In her last school, she created and hosted Student Leadership, was the Math Champion, and was part of the SEL Committee.

Before becoming a teacher, she was a full-time caregiver and inclusion activist for day programs and providing respite, working with adults and children with disabilities (including her grandma who had Alzheimer’s). She was also a paraprofessional, a tutor, a nanny, a pet sitter, worked at a funeral home, and served time at various retail stores.

In her free time, you’ll catch her sun-burning, fishing, camping, hiking, picking up pretty rocks and nature trinkets, reading all genres of books, singing loudly (especially along to Broadway and Disney songs- trying to learn professional screaming), jamming out to live music, trying her hand at making “art”, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her husband, cats, and family.
