ECE Teacher Assistant

Jazmin Carrington was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City. Growing up in such a diverse and creative environment inspired her passion for the arts, education, and helping others.
She began her creative journey as a filmmaker through the Tribeca Film Institute’s Tribeca Film Fellows Program and the Educational Video Center, where she learned the power of storytelling, leadership, and self-expression. She later worked as an art teacher, using creativity to build confidence, encourage imagination, and help students discover their unique talents.
Over the years, she has worked with children in preschool, elementary education, and special education. Her experience includes serving as a preschool teacher, paraprofessional, and one-on-one support for students with diverse learning and developmental needs. She believes every child learns differently and deserves patience, encouragement, and a safe environment where they can thrive.
One of the most important parts of her classroom is using daily affirmations to help children build confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset. She strives to create a space where every student feels seen, valued, respected, and capable of achieving their goals.
Her mission is to inspire children to believe in themselves, embrace their creativity, and understand that with kindness, perseverance, and confidence, anything is possible.
