English Language Development (ELD) Teacher & Multilingual Education Admin
Jessica was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado and attended Colorado State University. Her mom was a teacher so she grew up around schools and always wanted to be a teacher. Unsure of the age she wanted to work with, she majored in Human Development and Family Studies in order to get experience with all age groups. Jessica always loved learning about and immersing herself in other cultures so she moved to Asia after graduation and taught English for a couple years in China. After that, she taught online English lessons in the Netherlands until COVID when she moved back home. All of these experiences overseas furthered her passion for working with multilingual students. Prior to joining Academy 360 in 2023, she was the ELD teacher at a middle school near Sloan’s Lake. Jessica has a passion for working with students from different backgrounds and experiences and loves celebrating students’ multilingual superpower. When she’s not at school, Jessica loves traveling, going to concerts, trying new restaurants and cafes, spending time outside and binging movies and tv!
