First Grade Teacher
Kristina was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. A passionate artist, she earned her undergraduate degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in Fine Art with an emphasis in Oil Painting. Upon graduation, she got her start in teaching by working with public schools in the San Francisco area by creating afterschool programs focused on art and illustration. After a few years, Kristina was inspired to see more of the world so she earned a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and left the U.S. to work and travel.
Since 2018 she has lived across Southeast Asia, Oceania and most recently in Europe. For the past 6 years Kristina was living in Madrid, Spain and teaching in the early primary school level at bilingual schools in the region. In May of 2026, she earned a graduate degree in Teaching English from the University of Comillas in Madrid. Kristina aims to create an inclusive, warm and welcoming classroom where all students are encouraged to show up as their authentic selves. Kristina is new to Colorado as recently as July, 2026 and is excited to explore her new state. In her free time you will most likely find her reading, painting, studying languages (she is fluent in Spanish and French and is currently learning Italian) or planning her next trip abroad.
